Quality Assurance Engineer
£Good mentorship directly from the Global Quality Manager.
We are delighted to be representing an engineering business in North-East Manchester who design develop and manufacture high-tech materials for the aerospace and automotive industries.

Support the internal audit schedule by conducting regular internal audits to assess and ensure compliance with quality standards EN9100 and identify areas for improvement.
Analyse production processes / data to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements while maintaining product quality.
Develop inspection and risk management methods to analyse product quality in line with customer requirements such as MSA, FMEA, CPK.
highlight key findings and propose recommendations that are proportionate to the risk.
Oversee and direct the complaints process, ensuring timely resolution and ensure effective communication with relevant departments.
Develop and provide training to staff on internal quality processes, standards, and best practices.
Previous quality assurance experience and demonstrated use of quality tools/methodology, including problem-solving methodologies (preferably in an Aerospace environment).
Strong understanding of quality management systems and 9001/9100 standards.
Experience in conducting internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with standards and regulations. ( Proficient in creating and maintaining accurate quality documentation, reports, and records to facilitate traceability and continuous improvement.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
