Bluewave Recruitment are representing a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy consultancy who specialise in providing exceptional project management and engineering solutions within the utilities sector. Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and accredited MAPM Qualified Project Manager with significant experience in utilities projects, particularly with NEC expertise.

As the appointed Project Manager, and working with a group of Senior Project Managers you will play a key role in overseeing utilities projects with a particular focus on NEC contracts. Your extensive experience and accreditation with NEC will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of these projects to meet the highest standards.

Lead and manage utilities projects with an emphasis on NEC contracts, ensuring strict compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to understand project requirements, objectives, and deliverables within the NEC framework.
Develop comprehensive project plans, incorporating scope, schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments, with a specific focus on NEC compliance.
Monitor project progress, proactively identify potential NEC-related risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide timely updates to clients, stakeholders, and senior management, emphasizing NEC contract performance.
Cultivate a collaborative and efficient work environment, promoting teamwork and fostering professional development within the team.
Oversee meticulous project documentation, including NEC-related records, and prepare comprehensive reports for clients and management.

Ideally a degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Surveying, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent).
Proven track record as a Project Manager with experience in utilities projects and a strong focus on NEC contracts.
Demonstrable expertise and accreditation in NEC contracts and their implementation in utilities projects in the UK.
Strong communication, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to excel under NEC contractual conditions.
Proficiency in project management tools, software, and MS Office Suite.
