Design Engineer (Electro-Mechanical)

Are you a Design Engineer that wants to work on some of the energy sectors most exciting and complex technical challenges?
Do you want to play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth of a highly successful SME, adding value to groundbreaking projects working closely with founders and senior engineers, who are quickly becoming a formidable force?
On offer is the opportunity to work alongside a specialist company which designs and manufactures cutting edge technology that is quickly revolutionising the Oil & Gas and Energy sector.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mechanical design process of downhole technology / telemetry, including the improvement of R&D. You will manage projects from concept to conclusion and work directly with senior leadership. This is a fully office based role.
Developing and building prototypes to test their function
Undertaking theoretical analysis and mathematical modelling in support of concept development and design verification
Planning and conducting projects to defined milestones and cost targets
Office based role
Mechanical engineering background or similar
SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency
