The Merchant & User Data team is focused on building highly available and secure systems which allow merchants to manage access for both their users, and their integrations to Checkout’s APIs, as well as building a merchant account structure which allows merchants to access data following the principle of least privilege. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be exposed to the entire software development lifecycle, and work on the specification, design, development, testing and deployment of various solutions within a modern cloud (AWS) environment. The ideal candidate is curious, spirited, lives and breathes Agile and the DevOps philosophy and is passionate about working in a team which focuses on building products to easily enable the businesses of the biggest Platforms.
Solid experience in Software Development, Design and Architecture, with security in mind
Strong knowledge and application of software design patterns
NET (& .NET Core)
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL
Experience with Unit and Integration testing
Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment workflows
Cloud-based application development experience
Fluent in English and C# Responsibilities
Create and maintain a development environment for efficient testing and integration
Contribute and adhere to our API coding standards, best practices, and procedures
