Electricity Distribution - Network Planner
We are currently recruiting for a Grade 4 Network Planner to join us at our Alfreton depot. Planners design our network and work with our Engineers to construct, reinforce, alter and replace our equipment. To apply you’ll need English and Maths GCSE at Grade C/Level 4 minimum OR Functional Skills Level 2 or above. Please note you may initially be appointed at a lower salary until all relevant courses and training are complete.

Right now, we’re looking for a Grade 4 Network Planner to join us.
Main ResponsibilitiesAfter training, you’ll be hands-on, responsible for project design, costing and quoting and the replacement/ diversion/reinforcement of existing electricity network assets. Plan, prepare and deliver new services/alterations/small capital projects
Carry out network operations on the LV and HV systems
Resolve complaints
Access, remove or avoid site risks

You may not possess all the skills required to carry out the role at present but you will have the confidence and ability to reach the necessary standards with appropriate training. 
If not already attained you will be required to undertake a Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and complete TAR, which includes daily diary completion and a number of tasks and reports as required
