Job Description
Title: Infrastructure Business Analyst Specialist (Windows 11 Upgrade)
Day Rate: £600 (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 - 12 Months
Location: London - Hybrid Work Model (2 days on-site per week)
About the Role:
Join an innovative Insurance company as a pivotal Business Analyst, spearheading the discovery phase of a critical upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 within the End-User Computing (EUC) environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact the company's technological framework and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define and understand the technical requirements essential for deploying Windows 11.
Play a crucial role in formulating detailed implementation strategies.
Identify and catalogue applications and their respective owners.
Manage initial preparation tasks diligently to ensure a smooth transition.
Guarantee that the deployment of Windows 11 complies with strict security policies.
Oversee the deployment process, ensuring all applications are updated, patched, and secure post-transition.
Develop comprehensive documentation and provide training on Windows 11 to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements:
Proven background in a financial services environment, with a strong preference for experience in the insurance sector.
Demonstrated expertise as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in technical roles.
In-depth knowledge and experience with Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 11, will be considered a strong advantage.
Self-motivated and confident, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
