Role & Responsibilities
Kroptek is seeking candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our fast-growing, early-stage company in Sales & Business Development.
This role is focused on developing prospects and generating sales for our range of LED lights for horticultural applications. Our clients grow a wide range of crops including herbs, leafy greens, berries, vine crops and cannabis in a wide variety of methods including in glasshouses, vertical farms and in innovative indoor farms using the latest CEA tech. Kroptek’s focus is on customized solutions and therefore we value depth in our relationships with clients. This position will be comprised of a variety of responsibilities including:
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads online and offline
- Schedule meetings and conduct site visits with prospects
- Attend events and coordinate with clients and the rest of the team
- Develop sales strategy and regularly report results
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline and report it to the rest of the team
- Plan and deliver presentations on company products and services
- Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
- Communicate customer product pain points and feedback to the rest of the team
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships customers
- Execute sales orders and coordinate with billing and operations to optimize the sales process
Skills and Qualifications
Good written and verbal communication skills
Driving license and car to drive in the UK
Experience with lead generation and online prospecting
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Optional Additional Qualifications
Proficiency in languages other than English
Experience with CRM tools (we use Hubspot)
Degree from a university

Kroptek also designs and builds horticulture technology and lighting solutions to professional growers with more than 140 clients in 25 countries over the last 5 years. Some of our projects include an award-winning mushroom farm in Paris while we are also currently building the largest indoor farm in Atlantic Canada with our partners.
