A Financial organisation is seeking a Data Engineer for a pivotal role in their data team. You will play a crucial part in advancing challenging data initiatives, elevating your Data Engineering career.

Your responsibilities will involve implementing strategic data pipelines, contributing to projects with diverse technology stacks.

Specific Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Experienced in ETL techniques integrating into Data Warehouse, Cloud and various other targets solutions using Informatica PowerCenter/DEI tool.
  • Experienced in building Mapping’s, Workflow’s, Application’s and using transformations like Data Processor and Dynamic Mapping’s in Informatica BDM.
  • Experienced in working on Relational Databases like Teradata and Oracle.
  • Hands on experience in Unix.
  • Experienced in using one of the scheduling tools like Autosys/Airflow.
  • Exposure on cloud technologies like AWS, Snowflake and Stream sets is desirable and an added advantage.
  • Exposure to Informatica Intelligent
  • Hands on experience in Snowflake would be an added advantage.
Personal Skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in Agile delivery.
  • Comfortable providing technical support.
  • Good communication and stakeholder/customer management skills.
Responsible For
  • Work closely in partnership with system integrators to support the delivery of the programs that align to data strategy.
  • Work with one or more delivery teams on a given program to ensure requirements are obtained, work has been properly identified, and lead or support engineers in delivering the data products required as part of the programs.
  • Partner with both the business and technical team to ensure that solutions are aligned to the business needs and follow enterprise standards and guidelines.
  • Partner with data management and governance leads to ensure that projects are delivered and follow all compliance, regulatory, and data quality requirements.
