Finance Analyst

A successful privately owned FMCG business has an opportunity for a Finance Analyst on a 6 month contract basis. This is an interesting, commercially focussed role, supporting the Head of Finance in creating a suite of reports to improve business decision making.

Some of the key outputs that they are looking for include:

Sales and profitability analysis by product/customer/volume

Pricing analysis, including scenario planning to support new tenders

They are looking for someone who is experienced in terms of data manipulation and presenting reports which are easy for non-finance stakeholders to understand. Experience in a similar role is essential and finance qualifications would be advantageous.

This is an exciting opportunity as it is essentially a carte blanche for you to really put your stamp on and an opportunity to really add value. Sector experience isn't essential therefore a great opportunity to break into FMCG if you are looking to expand your portfolio. If you've been stuck in a standard management accounting role and are looking to focus your career towards a more analytical/commercial roles this should also appeal.
