Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join our passionate team. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring and engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, nurturing students' literacy skills, creativity, and critical thinking. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to contribute to our school's mission of excellence in English education.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons that encompass a range of literary genres, writing styles, and language skills, in alignment with the national curriculum.

* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to express their ideas and opinions.

* Foster a love for reading and literature through the exploration of diverse texts and the promotion of independent reading habits among students.

* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their literacy development, writing proficiency, and analytical skills.

* Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and integrate English across the curriculum through interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English or a related field.

* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature, with experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English.

* Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students through engaging teaching methods, innovative pedagogy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.

* Commitment to promoting the school's values and ethos, and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
