Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working on a brand-new and exciting Payroll position on behalf of a key client in Chesterfield. We are looking for a down to earth, confident, resilient, capable and highly experienced Payroll Officer to be based at their head office (though hybrid working is available) & join their fantastic payroll team, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract - the business are open to Full Time OR Part Time hours for this position. This role will be supporting to ensure the smooth running of the payroll, whilst the business implement a new payroll system i-Trent. If you have i-Trent experience, that would be highly advantageous, and you may be involved in this process, otherwise, you will be processing the payroll within the team. Duties will include: Process end to end payroll on a weekly and monthly basis Perform accurate payroll calculations Assist in the collation of P11D data and processing Manage salary sacrifice schemes and third-party deductions Assist with internal/external queries Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reconcile payroll data with finance Ensure compliance with legal requirements and pension regulations Support the team with the implementation of our new payroll system Analyse data from the system to deal with variances/discrepancies Carry out any other duties that may arise in the Payroll Department Key Skills & Responsibilities: Have excellent communication skills; professional handling of customer and internal contacts Confident with a professional manner and customer focused approach Good technical and numeracy skills, to include Excel Payroll experience (minimum 2 years) in a fast paced environment Practical experience of stand alone and integrated HR and Payroll systems Experience of using MHR iTrent desirable If you are immediately available or on a short notice period and interested in this position, please get in touch with Hannah Guy or Apply Today
