Mechanical Inspector

Platform Resourcing are currently working with a leading manufacturing business who are based in the Cwmbran area.

They are a leading provider of high-quality engineered products in the process equipment sector. They are now looking to making an appointment for a Quality Inspector within the quality team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Quality Inspector Salary and Benefits

Salary of up to £33,893, inclusive of shift allowance
Overtime opportunities paid at 150% and 200%
Hours Monday to Friday 7.Permanent role with progression opportunities
Pension
25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days - 33 days in total

Conduct comprehensive inspections of products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate effectively with team members to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a culture of quality excellence.
Quality Inspector Experience and Qualification Requirements

Completion of an Apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent technical qualification in a relevant field is essential.
Previous experience in inspection or quality control is preferred, with a strong understanding of inspection techniques and procedures.
