Role : Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Hours : Continental 12 hour shifts - 4 on 4 off (4 Days followed by 4 Nights)

You must be willing to get your hands dirty in a heavy plant environment and not be averse to training and developing your skills further. Suitable candidates will ideally have experience of delivering PPM & reactive maintenance within heavy or industrial production or manufacturing environments. This is a permanent position for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer working 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off (4 Days followed by 4 Nights).
Working in a team of motivated Engineers, day shifts can be more reactive, responding to breakdowns and line issues, while the night shifts are often more proactive, undertaking PPM, Continuous Improvement and Project Work.
The role is varied and dynamic, so youll get the chance to use a variety of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer.
Undertaking troubleshooting and providing Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and specialist machinery to ensure everything runs as expected.
Installing and maintaining all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment & machinery, attending breakdowns, faulting finding and undertaking repairs
Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system - CMMS
Troubleshoot & diagnose Siemens & other programmable logic controllers - PLCs
Have completed a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Electrical Engineering qualifications, beyond just the 18th Edition, @ Level 3 or higher
Be an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias with experience of working in a manufacturing / factory environment.
You will also be flexible in your approach, focusing on the changing day-to-day priorities which will enable the factory to continue to run efficiently.
Experience and knowledge of PLCs (programmable logic controllers)
Good diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pneumatics
