The Clinical Lead Informaticist is responsible and accountable for implementation of robust systems and processes that ensure there is a continuing improvement in the quality of the service provided to patients, safety to staff and visitors to the Trust premises, who may be affected by the work of the Trust.


Understand the digital strategy and support all areas of digital change being introduced and how it will be delivered.
Understand existing ways of working across the Trust and facilitate the utilisation and integration to a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) where the health record is in use.
Validate the new ways of working and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Work with senior management and clinical staff to sign off new processes with appropriate governanc
Produce training materials, enhancement proposals and support a standard approach to governance of clinical and operational systems.
