Job Advert: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (2x)

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

Location: Covering Southeast England (Candidates must be based in M4, M40, or M1 areas)

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

A leading maintenance solutions provider is seeking two skilled and dedicated Mobile Air Conditioning Engineers to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for HVAC systems and delivering top-notch customer service, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

General Duties:

* Conduct proactive and reactive maintenance through the helpdesk, ensuring customer expectations are met within set timeframes.

* Provide callout responses as detailed on the callout rota.

* Monitor and control contractor duties, ensuring all work meets relevant standards.

* Ensure equipment and surrounding areas conform to company standards.

* Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment.

* Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company policies at all times.

* Maintain punctuality with paperwork and client interactions.

Team/Skill Specific Duties:

* Fault-find and repair various air conditioning systems including VRV, VRF, split A/C, and multi-split systems.

* Conduct pressure leak tests and prepare systems to accept OFN throughout.

* Replace compressors and other inline components, followed by pressure leak testing and system reinstatement.

* Replace non-refrigerant circuit components (e.g., fan motors, PCBs).

* Perform full system servicing (internal and external units).

* Complete F gas documentation and reports in real time to a high standard.

* Maintain close communication with manufacturers' tech departments, engineers, and management.

Administration/Reports:

* Complete electronic worksheets and reports on the day work is carried out.

* Maintain professional communication with the helpdesk and company staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.

* Update the helpdesk with daily work status.

Finance:

* Submit weekly timesheets and overtime via timesheet.

* Submit expenses weekly.

Communication:

* Develop strong working relationships with co-workers and the helpdesk.

* Interact professionally and courteously with clients, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional service.

Technical Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

* Minimum A/C qualification: NVQ level 2 (NVQ level 3 preferred)

* F-GAS Category 1 certification

Soft Skills:

* Presentable, clean, and tidy appearance

* Proactive with strong fault-finding and repair abilities

* Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

* Punctual and reliable
