Ingredient & Packaging Expertise: Maintaining and updating the ingredient/packaging matrix, and keeping track of crucial information for production and regulatory purposes.

* Horizon Scanning & Risk Assessment: Staying ahead of the curve by reviewing and communicating emerging trends and potential risks (horizon scanning) in the food industry. You'll also conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all suppliers to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.

* Food Science Expertise: Holding a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a food-related discipline is essential. A strong understanding of food safety and quality principles is highly desirable, with experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector a significant advantage.

* Technical Skills & Attention to Detail: You're proficient in Microsoft Excel, utilizing it for data analysis and record-keeping.
