About the roleAs an Operations Manager you will be responsible for developing client relationships in order to successfully win new work, whilst ensuring contracts are delivered safely, on programme and to client and Vital Energi standards.
Key responsibilities- Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimise operational efficiency and productivity.

- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions.
- Managing and mentoring a team of project engineers, managers, and support staff in order to maximise performance and professional development.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive synergy across departments.
- Monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Cultivating strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering related discipline.
- Must have good mechanical/electrical design appreciation/knowledge.
- SMSTS/IOSH
- Black CSCS/Skillcard
- Demonstrable experience in an operations management role within the building services engineering sector
- Must have good mechanical/electrical design appreciation/Knowledge.
- Strong commercial and cost control experience.
