Senior Trading Underwriter - 2 roles

Property & Casualty Insurance

Manchester based - hybrid working available

We are recruiting for 2 senior Trading Underwriter roles, one is a new business development underwriter, and the other more focused on maintaining a renewal portfolio.

Both roles will be underwriting mid-corporate size clients, premiums size a MINIMUM of £50k GWP, but more often than not are much more significant.

The employer concerned are major insurers, with a global reach, A-rated and providing substantial financial benefits to all employees.

Both roles are due to growth in their chosen markets, and therefore this represents an opportunity to join a business that is on the up.

You will have strong broker relationships in the NorthWest market, and be able to negotiate best terms for the benefit of your employer and the client, maintaining a robust approach to underwriting standards.

Full back up of Underwriting Assistants and support in the office. So your primary function is to underwrite and maintain the strength of the broker relationships.
