Quality Auditor

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join the Technical Team at Bodmin site.

Working Hours will be Mon-Fri 05:30 - 15:30 pm

In your role you will ensure that products achieve highest food safety and quality standards for our customers.

You will lead by example and actively encourage all staff to take ownership of product quality and immediately report any quality or food safety issues.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Perform all aspects of on line checks of product, packaging, labelling and procedure, ensuring compliance with specification.
• Routinely check documents to ensure accurate records are kept.
• Conduct intake inspection of ingredients and packaging including certificates of conformity and analysis to ensure company procedure is being followed.
• Undertake internal audits and also assist with external visits.
• Investigate all types of customer complaints and report back to the QA Manager.
• Develop and maintain effective and clear communication channels to ensure that other departments are fully briefed on new specifications and have an opportunity to gain information and offer constructive feedback.
• Provide support to the broader technical function in QA related activities.
• Audit and monitor processes making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and process specification and procedure.
• Share information, knowledge, instructions, and advice whilst understanding the needs of the business, and being aware of implications which may be consequential following shared information.
• Undertake other general admin tasks within department i.e. scanning, archiving.
