Working across a busy 150-acre campus with 9 kitchens, no two days are the same at Tonbridge School. Whether it is a favourite lunch for the boys, fine dining for a wedding reception or delicious sports teas, our team are passionate about creating great food from locally sourced fresh produce.

We are looking forAssistant Chefs to join our busy Catering Department.

As Assistant Chef, you will support the Head Chef in your kitchen to produce meals for both staff and boys. In addition, you will be able to take the lead during an evening and Saturday service in one of our Boarding House kitchens, upholding our standards of both food quality and hygiene at all times.

This is a part time, term time role working either:

  • 27.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm, plus Tuesday and Wednesdayevenings 4.30pm to 7pm;

    OR
  • 30 hours per week: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 2.00pm plus Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 4.30pm to 7.00pm;

    OR
  • 31 hours per week: Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm, plus Wednesday and Thursday evenings 4.30pm to 7pm and alternate Saturdays 6.30am to 2pm;

    OR
  • 34.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm, plus Wednesday and Thursdayevenings 4.30pm to 7pm andSaturdays 6.30am to 2pm.
