The Quality Manager role in Blackpool presents a significant opportunity within the Medical Imaging industry. The company, a globally recognised leader in carbon fibre component design and manufacture, is seeking a capable individual to uphold and enhance its quality standards.
Role Summary: As Quality Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring product excellence and maintaining regulatory compliance. Working in a dynamic environment, you'll lead quality reporting, manage systems, conduct root cause analysis, and oversee audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive quality metrics and reporting
- Establish and maintain Quality Management Systems
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Manage audits and regulatory compliance
- Understand customer needs and develop quality processes
- Support product development and documentation
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards
Key Skills:
- Strong data analysis and statistical skills
- Excellent organisation and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in problem-solving tools and quality procedures
- Knowledge of ISO standards and relevant methodologies
- IT and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to assess broader situations and provide strategic insights
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with LEAN methodologies
- Experience with medical-specific standards
- Certification in advanced statistical analysis tools
