The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) is a modern, vibrant organisation full off passionate, committed people. We are seeking an energetic, capable, motivated, and adaptable solicitor to beable to successfully undertake the duties and responsibilities required which include conducting litigation and providing legal advice at all levels across the business.
You will be responsible for a managing a varied case load of predominantly public and civil law matters relating to PHSO casework and a wide range of other issues including negligence, equality and human rights, mental health, data and employment law.
Working proactively with team members to support the provision of a quality legal service.
have good knowledge and understanding of public law, in particular, judicial review and the CPR
be able to provide clear and accurate legal advice verbally and in writing, draft pleadings, applications, orders and correspondence to external bodies and complainants
