This job description should be read in conjunction with the relevant Senior Deputy Headteacher job specification.
Support the Headteacher in developing and implementing the vision and strategic direction of the Academy
Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership of the Academy, deputising for them as required
Provide strategic leadership for overseeing and embedding quality and standards in teaching, learning and assessment across the academy
Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
Knowledge of current education legislation, Ofsted framework and best practice
Proven success of improving student outcomes within a school
Evidence of continuous professional development e.g. Outstanding Teaching and Learning:We strongly believe that outstanding teaching and learning are the keys to unlocking exceptional outcomes for our children.
