How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four? At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first. That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay. Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG. Job title: Teaching Assistant Location: Oak Tree School, Truro, TR4 9NH Salary: £25,115.37 per annum ( not pro rata ) Hours: 42.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8am - 4:30pm Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only Start: December 2025 UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship. At Oak Tree School in Truro, we’re looking for experienced and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to support students’ learning and development within a dynamic and supportive school environment. About the Role This is more than a classroom support role — it’s a chance to help shape brighter futures every single day. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with pupils with a range of needs, helping them to grow in confidence, achieve their potential, and discover new possibilities in a nurturing and inspiring environment. You’ll support teachers in planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons, help prepare learning materials, and provide one-to-one and small group support. You’ll also play an important role in supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing — celebrating their successes, guiding them through challenges, and helping them build resilience and independence. No two days will ever be the same. Whether you’re supporting in class, leading outdoor learning, or helping pupils explore the world around them, you’ll make a real, lasting difference. And with a supportive, close-knit team behind you, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn, develop, and grow. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone caring, flexible, and enthusiastic — someone who can adapt to the needs of individual pupils and bring energy and positivity to every day. You’ll be confident working both in the classroom and outdoors, ready to build strong relationships and model the school’s values of patience, kindness, and teamwork.
