Job Title: MEP Planner

Location: Surrey

Role Type: Permanent - £70-£80K, plus benefits

Monday to Friday: Full time

Our client, a highly regarded independent construction consultancy, is seeking an experienced MEP Planner to work on a major construction project based in Surrey on a hybrid basis.

You will play an important role in all facets of project planning and scheduling. Your responsibilities will encompass managing project schedules from inception to completion, establishing and implementing robust Project Controls Procedures and Systems, and ensuring strict adherence to client-specific planning requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor, update, and communicate the progress of the programme using Primavera (P6).
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and present these findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the assessment compensation events under the NEC3 bespoke contract.

Required Skills:

• Solid working experience of Primavera (P6) & ASTA.
• Experience working on NEC 3 and/or NEC4 bespoke contracts.
• Good understanding of key programme methods, such as critical path management.
• Fully confident working with data, reporting and analysis to identify issues, options, and solutions.
• Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner tailored to the stakeholders’ requirements.
• Working knowledge of change management.
• Previous life science project experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.

Salary £70K - £80k for a permanent role or if a contract is your preference our client is willing to pay a day rate £500-£550 per day outside IR35.
