Lynx is working with a world leader in optical designing, testing, and manufacturing. As experts in the technology of light, theywork with customers to provide optical systems, assemblies, and components for demanding applications.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our optical components used in fibre-optic systems. The position involves testing, analysis, and troubleshooting of optical components to meet required specifications and requirements.
Testing and Measurement
Perform detailed testing of optical components (lasers, photodiodes, modulators, optical amplifiers) using advanced equipment
Conduct fibre-optic testing including insertion loss and polarisation mode dispersion
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze test data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to optical component performance
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proficiency with optical testing equipment (OTDRs, optical spectrum analyzers, power meters)
Experience with data analysis software and report generation
Certification in fibre-optic testing (e.g., Experience with automated testing systems
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality control principles
