Join our #OneBlueFamily as a National Account Manager to develop strategic relationships with all designated National Account clients. Your role will be to continually develop service excellence within our exiting portfolio of Accounts. You will have excellent communication skills, have a strong attention to detail and demonstrate experience in managing key relationships on a National level.

As a National Account Manager you will generate a positive impact on Blue Arrow’s growth and operating profits and ensure that Blue Arrow’s values are reflected in every activity.

As a National Account Manager you will be covering UK and Ireland and therefore you must have the flexibility to travel regularly and have a full UK Driving licence.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities as a National Account Manager include:

  • Research, analyse and understand your customers: business strategy, organisational structure, key values and priorities and to align Blue Arrow’s sales strategy to these in order to grow Blue Arrow’s share of wallet
  • Cross sector revenue opportunities
  • Accurate client development plans
  • Regular face to face meetings with client base and key decision makers
  • Business cases and financial models for all new business opportunities
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships within each customer and initiate, build and develop productive relationships to create new business opportunities for Blue Arrow
  • Achieve new business/growth targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders, influencing change positively and ensuring this is embraced at all levels through effective communication
  • Nurture relationships with key clients to ensure growth and retention of the business, whilst considering the commercial needs of all stakeholders
  • Regular communication with key clients and create suitable discussion platforms to ensure that there are regular ongoing discussions focused on growing Blue Arrow’s share of wallet

About you:

  • Track record of success in growing revenues in an Account Management/Recruitment focussed role
  • Working in a account development position, preferably within National Accounts or experience in managing multiple accounts/ managed service accounts
  • A strong negotiator with the ability to sell effective solutions to customers at all levels
  • The ability to influence and drive change proactively across your portfolio
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including effective presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen with the commercial and market knowledge
  • Hold full UK driving license with the ability to travel as required
