This client are a fast paced Production facility and are looking to recruit a:

Mechanical Fitter / Welder

Significant experience in fault finding, repair of machinery, hydraulics and other production associated systems

* Able to attempt most aspects of mechanical engineering with little direction.

* Competent using MIG, TIG and electric arc welding equipment.

* Using GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding), SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) processes would be an advantage.

General maintenance duties, proactive and reactive to ensure there is minimum downtime.

* Carry out routine maintenance schedules to the maintenance schedule plan PPM.

* Prioritise production stoppages over daily duties.

* Installation work where required.

* Follow a “clean as you go” work ethic in accordance with good manufacturing practice.

* Identify improvements that can be made to production lines, individual machinery or other operations and ensure these improvements are communicated to the relevant team.

* Monday - Thursday - Days - 4 Day working week

The salary will be £35,000pa with an Excellent Benefits Package
