IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
The IT department is firmly integrated into the organizational structures of the Heart and Diabetes Center NRW. IT provides a team of highly qualified experts whose tasks are divided into two main areas: IT infrastructure and clinical systems/development. The team consists of 24 permanent full-time employees and is supported by trainees and employees doing their federal voluntary service. Administration and further development of the client management environment and the assets it contains
Administration of the applications used in the company, including software distribution and OS deployment
Administration of Microsoft RDS and mobile device management
Planning and implementation of patch, update and upgrade activities as well as the rollout of hardware
A completed vocational training in the field of computer science or comparable qualifications with several years of professional experience
Very good know-how in Windows client and server operating systems
Very good knowledge and practical experience in Microsoft Active Directory incl. DNS, DHCP and group policies
software distribution, OS deployment, patch management, as well as identity access management, virtualization (VMware vSphere, RDS) and Linux distributions is an advantage
Enthusiasm for technology and a passion for new IT technologies
Very good knowledge of German (at least C1 level spoken and written) and good knowledge of English
