My Client is recruiting for a Senior Electrical ICA Engineer in the Water Sector
My Client has an extensive portfolio of UK, Overseas and Globally delivered projects, helping clients address asset creation, process improvement and plant optimisation needs. Their locally focused teams incorporate expert electrical, ICA, process, mechanical and civil engineers who provide a multidisciplinary approach to solving clients' problems in innovating, creative, managing, building and investing in water and wastewater infrastructure.
EICA projects we carry out involve some of the following discipline items, including:
Electrical systems modelling.
Using intelligent P&IDs, 3D designs, plant visualization and virtual reality techniques.
Power systems analysis software.
will vary depending on project and client)
Asset surveys and assessments, using cutting-edge technologies and techniques as appropriate.
Feasibility, outline and detailed electrical and ICA design work (transformers, generators, LVSB, MCC, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, telemetry etc.) SLDs, BCDs, earthing, systems architecture diagrams, user requirement specifications (URS/FDS), technical design risk assessments, P&IDs, cost and programme estimations.
Technical report writing at all stages of the project lifecycle.
Liaison with clients within the UK and worldwide.
Delivering projects as a part of multidisciplinary, multi-location, multi-party teams.
Opportunity to present your project work at company meetings or at conferences.
Degree-qualified with an Electrical or ICA bias; ideally a chartered Member of a recognised engineering institution.
You will have a keen interest in the water/wastewater industry and will ideally have already spent a proportion of your career in the water or a related similar industry that can be applied.
You will have experience of managing and mentor teams and/or individuals and/or projects, potentially split across disciplines and locations.
Willingness to contribute to and develop our technical knowledge networks.
Working with and developing new automated digital design tools
