You will be joining a main contractor working on water schemes across the Midlands region. This multi-accredited company has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader within the water sector and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in their Derby office and be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring the prompt submission of invoices and/or applications of payments to clients, producing information for tenders and PQQ’s to assist business development, preparing accurate financial statements, managing the appointment/ongoing management of subcontractors (including final accounts and payment applications) as well as hold responsibility for the commercial completion of the contracts.
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in heavy civils and have good working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 forms of contract. In addition, you will also have experience in the preparation of interim and final accounts and possess strong interpersonal skills. Finally, you will hold a full UK driving licence and be able to work within a delivery team.
