- NVQ3/BTEC Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent training
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
- Knowledge and understanding of GP Practice and Community Pharmacy in the supply of medicines
- Knowledge of GP computer systems
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective organisational and prioritising skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to analyse complex data
- Significant post qualification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Working with a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Understanding of clinical governance and risk management
- Audit experience
- Experience of working in a primary care environment
- Able to work independently
- Able to work as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, motivated and innovative
- Flexible approach to work and adaptable to changing demands and situations
- Conscientious, responsible and reliable
- Able to deal with patients and members of the public
