Our client is a leading third party Loan Servicing and Loan Asset Management business. This market leading business works with a variety of different real estate lenders from bulge bracket investment banks through to debt funds and manages performing commercial real estate loans, NPL's and securitised products on behalf of their clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Loan Manager in to their team in Chorley. This individual will take ownership and responsibility for the management of a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of European commercial real estate loans.
  • Working closely with in-house Legal team and, where necessary, external counsel, reviewing relevant finance documents prior to loan closing and through the life of the loan.
  • Completing loan facility requirements.
  • Processing transfers, setting up waterfalls and reviewing back-office calculations.
  • Liaising with project monitors, borrowers and lenders with regard to drawdowns and calculating lender splits, if required.
  • Reviewing loan agreements, servicing agreements and other finance / security documentation. 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the real estate debt sector.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment running multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Motivated to learn new skills and continue personal & professional development.
