This is an excellent opportunity to lead and support a team looking after a group of young people aged 8-18 who have behavioural and emotional issues. We are searching for an experienced Deputy Manager with a minimum of Level 4 Young People and Family Practitioner qualification who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Please note that full driving license is required for this role. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary: £34,994 per annum with available overtime. External and online certified courses. Specialist in-house training. Funded enrolment onto Level 4 & 5 NVQ. DBS fees reimbursed. On-site parking. Company pension. The ability to make a significant difference in other people’s life. Refer a friend scheme – you can earn up to £500 per referral Client and Role: Our client has a brand new children’s residential home with residents aged 8-18 who have behavioural and emotional issues. The aim of the home is to help the residents develop and maintain the necessary social and living skills to enjoy a fulfilling life whilst ensuring their physical and emotional care needs are also met. The role includes acting as leader, role model and co-ordinator of shifts and fully deputising for the Registered Home Manager in their absence. Leading and inspiring a staff team and take responsibility of their training, development, supervisions, and rotas. Being a positive role model to the children and young people. Delivering the Children’s Standards in the home. Successful Applicant: Must have previous supervisory experience in a residential childcare setting. Full UK driving license is required.
