Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of travel in Sheffield? A long-term contract awaits a skilled Sub Agent to join a dynamic team dedicated to the construction of a smart motorway. This project promises not only professional growth but also the chance to contribute to a landmark infrastructure development.

Role Highlights:

* Lead on-site operations for a major highway project

* Oversee a range of tasks including Earthworks, Retaining Structures, and Drainage

* Coordinate the installation of gantries and other smart motorway technologies

* Ensure project milestones are met with the highest standards of quality and safety

* Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to deliver excellence

Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in civil engineering, specifically on highway or similar large-scale projects

* Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing construction teams

* In-depth knowledge of Earthworks, Retaining Structures, and Drainage

* Familiarity with smart motorway technologies and their implementation

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment

* Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
