JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Wedding & Private Events planner to join our growing agency team. The role is primarily to plan and lead the execution projects of mid-scale to large events for private and wedding clients. Project types vary but include primarily UK and destination weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, celebration weekends and intimate gatherings.

KEY DUTIES

  • End-to-end planning (from point of enquiry) of private events and weddings in the UK
  • Exceptional ideation and delivery across all events
  • Develop pitch presentations and event ideas for new enquiries, including event design & moodboards
  • To work closely with clients to understand their unique vision, cultural beliefs, and event preferences
  • Develop, manage and report on client budgets (£10k to £1m+)
  • Manage all project finances including detailed budgets, client/supplier invoices and payment schedules
  • Prepare thought-through event documents & client updates including detailed briefings, timelines, production schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Research & keep up-to-date with event suppliers across all categories, building trusted relationships with all preferred suppliers
  • Manage event teams during project planning and onsite
  • Represent Quintessentially at weddings/events industry events and help grow a profile for Quintessentially in the weddings market
  • From time to time, this role may also be required to manage QE corporate events

HOURS OF WORK

0900 to 1730 Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable experience within creative wedding and private events management

• Experience working within the UVL (Unique venues of London) portfolio

• A holistic understanding of the wedding and private party sector, trends, and key industry developments

• Commercial acumen to evaluate enquires and prepare responses

• Knowledge of delivering events internationally

• A cultivated list of industry contacts to elevate the brands current repertoire of suppliers.

• Experience managing a team of both internal employees and freelance staff.

• Creative mindset

• Well organised and a strong multi-tasker

• Strong attention to detail

• Personable and able to interact with discerning global client
