Product Lifecycle Specialist Staffordshire, UK 12 months Contract
Candidates should have proven experience using Master Data and/or Procurement functions within SAP to manage operations.
~ Knowledge of SAP software.

Competence in SAP
Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Sound practical experience with industrial systems
Fluency in English
Create STD material masters - (Data obtained from Engineering) and advise on Material Structure.
Create contract specific material data.
Input data from project plan - (Obtain from Ops, delivery dates and conditions).
Create and maintain Purchase Requisitions - (Project Builder).
Ongoing maintenance of Material Masters and Project Module.
Process improvement identification and implementation
Create and Maintain Project specific SAP BOM.
Prepare Training Material as required.
Training of Key Users.
Ongoing Development of new methods which will Automate and reduce the lead-time between engineering definition through to the procurement process.
Running of SAP reports as required to support business functionality
The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated, dynamic and rapidly growing team of engineers working on the project activities related to HVDC applications.
The Role will focus on material data and Bill of Material (BoM) management within our ERP (SAP) system. As part of the role, the candidate will be required to effectively manage SAP Material Masters and BoM product configurations to enable release of materials to meet product / project procurement deadlines. The successful candidate will participate to different cross-functional meetings through the project life cycle, interacting with the different stakeholders within the business unit, such as Sourcing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operation, Commercial, Engineering.
