Lorien's leading Life and Pensions client is looking for an experienced Risk and Controls Analyst to join the existing team on an initial 6month contract.

Role Summary

The Technology Risk and Control Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing and quantifying the technology risks for the Technology Service Operations organisation, as well as coordinating and reporting on mitigating activities. The focus is on operational resilience, technology obsolescence, data integrity, and complex systems.

The analyst will collaborate with technology teams. project managers, 2nd Line Risk, and IT leadership.

The role offers a great opportunity to contribute to an operational resilience programme by providing strong analysis and data-driven insight across a changing technology landscape.

Role Requirements

  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methods
  • Experience of operational resilience
  • quantitative analysis techniques are highly beneficial
  • Strong experience of Information Technology in the UK financial services industry
  • A good understanding of technology risk management as a business enabler
  • Qualifications in IT and in Risk are preferred but not essential.
