Overview

As part of a growing team defining and developing data solutions. We are helping to shape the future of a FTSE 100 company. We are developing a next generation Automated Valuation Model (AVM) and are looking for a talented Data Scientist to strength our Machine Learning (ML), analysis, modelling and data processing capabilities. On this high profile project your contributions will be highly visible and your input valued.

Responsibilities:

Utilize existing methodologies to build a house price indices.

Collaborate with the Principal Data Scientist to improve valuation performance in niche geographic areas

Contribute to the advancement of the underlying AVM models.

Produce new and innovative valuation models and techniques utilising millions of unique data points

Analysis of model results and reporting to stakeholders.

Skills Required:

Great communication skills both verbal and written.

Experience working within an SME or small dynamic teams.

A can do attitude and willingness to help other members of the team

Working under pressure and to agreed deadlines.

Essential:

Experience as a data scientist (+2 years minimum).

Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.

Ability to analyse, process and interpret large amounts of data.

Experience with PostgreSQL.

Strong Python skills.

Desirable:

Experience working with property data desirable.

Geospatial experience desirable.

Text manipulation and extraction techniques desirable.
