They offer an impressive salary and benefits package with an OTE £40k+ in your first year, a Company van with personal use allowed, PDA & Mobile Phone, Overtime paid over a standard 40-hour week, Full Door to Door payment, Bonus Scheme, Company Pension Scheme, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays and much moreResponsibilities of the Field Service EngineerReporting to the Service Manager you will be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites within your postcode area. The candidate will be working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas, and electric trucks. You will be expected to manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.Requirements of the Field Service EngineerNVQ Level 3 qualification is essential - Certificates will be requiredWill consider Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, HGV Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Roadside Recovery, Plant Fitter…IT Literate and be comfortable with using the latest technologySalary and Benefits for the Field Service Engineer:Attractive starting salary package circa with OTE £40k+ minimum in your first yearOvertime paid at time and a half over a 40-hour weekWorking Hours 8 am to 4.30 pm Mon to Thurs, 8 am to 4 pm on FridaysDoor to Door paymentsBonus Scheme + additional bonus once completed probation of £500Occasional on-call support required paid in addition to your salaryCompany van and fuel card, with the option for private use25 days annual leaveCompany pension schemeWorld-class specialised product trainingFull Forklift Driver LicenseBuddy support system in placeCompany laptop and phoneIn-boot overnight parts deliveriesPPE and Uniform suppliedUniform cleaning serviceOngoing manufacturer training on our market-leading range of material-handling equipmentTechnical support availableLocal support network of colleagues - buddy systemIf you are considering moving into the world of Field Service Engineering then this the perfect opportunity to join a world leader in their field, who will support you to be the best Service expert in your field
