Simply Education is seeking a dynamic and resilient Behaviour support Teaching Assistant to join and work collaboratively in alternative provisions. The successful candidate will support vulnerable students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting academic success.

Some of our students have additional attachment and trauma response so the successful teaching assistant must be prepared to invest the time and patience in our students to promote the best outcomes.

Motivate the pupils and promote and reinforce self esteem.

Provide 1:1 support for pupils experiencing emotional/behavioural crisis

Support pupils and encourage them to make the appropriate choices about their behaviour

Be fully aware and of the school policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding

Contribute to the overall ethos of the school

A full, clean driving license (preferred but not essential)

Previous experience working with SEMH children/adults
