Position Title: Lead Creative Designer / Team Lead

Assignment Description:

  • This project requires a senior, creative, design professional who has experience of Interior and Exterior OEM projects, through to production level data release.
  • This person will be used to working at a fast pace and is self-motivated to create design proposals, solve problems and ensure project delivery.
  • Currently, there is a Design proposal in place that requires additional design input and refinement on Interior and Exterior.
  • The ideal candidate will lead the project from the post concept phase through to production of prototype models.
  • This will include providing the necessary creative guidance to the Contechs CAS team to deliver final surface data.
  • Ability to Liaise with the OEM design management team to discuss the creative design changes required to the original design and resolve any feasibility issues.
  • Provide creative guidance to visualisation artists to deliver images for management reviews.
  • As lead creative designer you will be responsible for leading the design project and creating the necessary design imagery required to review with senior management for interior and exterior changes.
  • Prepare presentation material for reviews.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Attend to project and engineering meetings.

Requirements:

  • Previous OEM Car Design Experience
  • Degree from Automotive Design School or College
  • Minimum 10 year's relevant experience
  • Interior and Exterior design experience
  • English fluent, both verbally and written

Software and IT:

  • Photoshop
  • MS Office

Personal attributes:

  • Communicative with good presentation skills both verbal and visual.
  • Independent and confident.
  • A good team worker who thrives on leading projects through to delivery with minimal support.
  • Structured, methodical and analytical with good planning skills.
  • Strong drive, flexible and able to work under constrained time schedules and frequently revised circumstances.

Nice to Have Criteria:

  • Alias / Icem knowledge is an advantage.

Additional Information:

  • Will be required to submit portfolio.
