About the Role: Our client is an award-winning commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor with over 20 years of proven success delivering exceptional workspaces across London and the South East. Specialising in CAT A, CAT B, and structural refurbishment projects, they partner with blue-chip clients and architects to deliver high-quality, design-led commercial environments. Projects typically range from £500K to £30M, spanning a variety of sectors and building types. The Role Due to continued growth, the business is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is an opportunity to play a key role within a forward-thinking, people-first organisation that values precision, teamwork, and integrity in everything they do. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for managing and producing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Working closely with the Pre-Construction Director, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Design teams, you'll help ensure each tender is delivered with technical excellence and commercial insight. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for CAT A, CAT B, and refurbishment projects Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify risks and opportunities Liaise with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure accurate pricing and value engineering Manage subcontractor enquiries, assessments, and comparisons Contribute to bid strategies and attend tender interviews where required Support the Pre-Construction Director with workload planning, forecasting, and reporting Collaborate with the delivery team post-award to ensure a smooth project handover About You Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the commercial fit-out or refurbishment sector Strong understanding of CAT A / CAT B build processes and structural refurbishment Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work to tight deadlines Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite A collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented approach Why Join?
