Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team and spearhead financial strategies as the business continues upon an aggressive growth trajectory through acquisitions and organic expansion.

The CFO will play a pivotal role in guiding their financial decisions, optimising operational efficiency, and driving sustainable profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans, with a focus on maximising value creation.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to provide actionable insights to the executive team and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to best practices.
  • Cash flow management, capital allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to drive operational efficiencies, optimise resource allocation, and support business expansion initiatives.
  • Lead M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and integration efforts, to support the company's acquisition strategy.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and transparency across the organisation.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support key decision-making processes and drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications & Essential experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Proven track record of success in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within the IT Managed Services or technology sector.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
