SENIOR NURSERY LEADER

Islington Norfolk, United Kingdom Staff Match Full time

We are recruiting for an experienced Baby Room leader to join a lovely nursery in based in Islington, Greater London. Candidates will need to have experience of working with children under 3 years of age and a good working knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted welfare requirements.
NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification
Experience of working in a childcare setting and supporting children s development
Good team building experience
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Some of the responsibilities for Baby Room Leader will include:

Leading staff in the room and ensuring children are being adequately supported in their learning and development
Promoting equal opportunity, compliance with EYFS curriculum requirements and planning exciting age appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors
Key worker responsibilities to recording children s development
Working to nursery policy and procedures and ensuring all staff understand and adhere to them
Attending staff meetings and training as required
Working 40 hours per week
