ME+EM is a luxury British womenswear brand that have been going through a period of exponential growth and have recently expanded into the US market.
T&Pm have worked with the brand for nearly 15 years, and have most recently collaborated with ME+EM on a fully integrated campaign/new creative platform across OOH/DOOH, Social and Print for the US launch.
There is an exciting next chapter for ME+EM looking at attracting new audiences in global markets like the US. This needs an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Business Director, who is able to provide leadership and direction to a fully integrated team and a collaborative setup with client teams.

Creativity and Campaigns:

Partner with Strategic, Creative and Media leads to develop and evolve the strategy and creative to deliver strategically sound creative solutions.
Helping drive / sell 'idea led' on-brand creative solutions.
Ensure the smooth running of campaign productions from end to end - providing leadership in the production process to ensure best in class delivery and assisting the client to deliver against their objectives by understanding the challenges and opportunities within their sector.

Operations and Governance:

Able to review the account in a period of growth and implement/embed new processes to ensure quality control and consistency (Agency and Client side)
This is an account run across markets (Agency and Client side). The candidate must be able to make this appear seamless as the Lead Account Handler and keep all parties informed, aligned and following the same goals and objectives.
Ensure the smooth day to day running of the account, from inspiring added value weekly status meetings, to making sure all deadlines are met on time and on budget.
Managing the finances on the account
Ability to lead and liaise with other departments and disciplines to set the Agency up for success on all projects.
Working hand and hand with your Media counterpart to ensure Creative and Media are always being looked at, and recommendations made holistically.

Responsibilities

Cultivating strong senior client relationships and being their trusted partner in all things
Overseeing all projects on your account and being the go-to person for other members of the team who need support on their projects.
Acting as a senior ambassador for the agency
Ensuring the right agency resources are allocated to each brief.
Galvanising and aligning other members of the team towards a common goal.
Anticipating creative challenges and thinking outside the box to provide solutions.
Taking the lead on strategy and ideas development with Planning and Creative
Using your influence with clients to push for the best work possible
Ensuring all creative work fits with the client's brand and business objectives
Understanding the wider context of the client's business to be able to have strategic conversations with senior clients.
Being responsible for fee agreements and overall profitability
Being familiar with what we can offer as the T&P Group - highlighting opportunities to introduce other Group offerings as appropriate.
Planning ahead, understanding the client's long-term objectives and ensuring the agency is fit to meet them.
Creating and supporting cross-agency collaboration, spotting opportunities to work better together.
Continually innovating to ensure that the agency offering is fit for the client's needs.

Skills

Strong analytical skills, ability to turn information into actionable insights
Ability to develop strategy into tangible deliverables.
Negotiation skills - ability to work through impasses within agency and/or client to find appropriate solutions.
Detailed industry knowledge to drive opportunities for the client and agency.
Ability to develop and nurture more junior team members and support everyone on the team to achieve their full career potential.
Ability to foresee potential problems from past experience and identify multiple workable solutions to these problems/contingency plans.
Tenacity in the face of resistance and ability to remove any obstacles preventing the achievement of excellence.
