At the heart of this, our UK Poultry division produces a third of all poultry eaten in the UK and represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The team includes two production planners who report into the Senior Planner. You would be responsible for ensuring the production schedule/plan is on-time and running smoothly between departments.
- Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipments; conferring with department FLM’s.
- Compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, and production problems.
- Supporting in daily planning and scheduling for multiple production areas
- Creating weekly plans to cover forecasted sales
- Monitoring production performance and update plans where necessarily
- Stocks reconciliation/mass balance
ABOUT YOU:
- Must have experience in a similar Production, Factory or Line Leader position
- A good understanding of supply chain in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to reorganise according to constantly changing circumstances
