# Demonstratable skills and experience in Highways and/or Traffic design and at the more Senior level project management and team leadership.
Major (Trunk Road network) and Minor (Local Authority) Highway Design, Traffic Management, Traffic Calming, Active Travel, Signing and Lining, Road Safety, Traffic Regulation Orders and Public Rights of Way.
Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Road Traffic Regulation Act, Manual for Streets and other local authority standards.
Relevant experience in design software such as CAD/KeySign & KeyLine where appropriate.
Knowledge of Active Travel Design
Public or private sector experience.
Full UK driving license
Ability to attend an office or site 2-3 days per week
Educated to HNC / HND level in a Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.
