Job Responsibilities: As a Fire Alarm Engineer at Polyteck, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting routine service and maintenance checks on fire alarm systems, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Carrying out commissioning tasks for new installations, including testing, programming, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
  • Responding promptly to client requests for system repairs and providing effective solutions to any technical issues that may arise.
  • Collaborating with team members and clients to ensure clear communication and efficient project execution.
  • Documenting all service and commissioning activities accurately and maintaining comprehensive records of work performed.
Qualifications and Skills for a Fire Alarm Engineer We Are Searching For: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and commissioning fire alarm systems, with a strong understanding of relevant codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to fire alarm systems, including detection devices, control panels, and peripheral equipment.
  • Familiarity with a range of fire alarm system brands and models, with the ability to adapt to various product specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
