Registered Learning Disability Nurse/Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are looking for passionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) looking to begin their preceptorship with a driven and passionate team; in this role you'll provide excellent, professional, and effective care. If you are someone who believes they make a difference to the lives of those living with chronic, complex mental, and sometimes physical health needs, this could be the role for you. As one of our nursing team, you will be playing a pivotal role within the hospital, not only as a care professional, but also as a mentor and guide to our excellent team of support workers. Ensuring patient centred care plans are developed, implemented, evaluated and recorded.
Facilitating daily hospital activities.
Ensuring effective communication with service users, carers, visitors, and staff.
Implementing effective use of the Mental Health act where necessary.
Assist with the development and /or revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.
As a senior member of the hospital, you’ll be expected to display aptitude, enthusiasm and professionalism; though you’ll be a role model for junior members of the team, you will find yourself supported by our talented team of managers whose wealth experience is always available to you.
Training
We’re proud to provide an in-house training programme of up to 11 annual classes that will prepare you for your any eventuality. During your induction into Nouvita, you will undergo a paid e-learning course, as well as a 5-day training programme (also paid) to equip you with everything you need to get started. After-which your continued development will be tailored to your, and the hospital’s needs.

Baldock Manor Hospital is a thriving service in need of experienced nurses to bolster our team and move us further along our journey to excellence.
Over recent years Baldock Manor has undertaken extensive development work to become the hospital it is today. an 8 bedded female PICU service, an older working age men’s 14 bed acute/High dependency unit typically for gentlemen over the age of 45/50 and a similar 10 bedded service for older working age/older age ladies.
Our focus is recovery for our patients with quality care and measurable outcomes at the centre of all we do. Baldock Manor boasts a full MDT with Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology and Occupational Therapy practitioners on site as well as a very able team of Senior support workers, support works, Therapies assistants and more.
Being a smaller hospital gives us the opportunity to coach and mentor our team as well as giving real ability for individuals to take a role in service design and bring their innovative ideas to the fore.
